Bookshelf painting

A friend asked me to paint some cuties on a bookshelf that she bought as a baby gift for her sister.

The giraffe's were challenging and I learned a lot (so much to learn!). By the time I started the Cheetah I had the hang of it and he was a joy to create.

It always feels awesome to finish a project.

So cute, too fun not to.

Canoe on dock

I learned a lot working on this piece. The sky took on a life of its own and I went with it.

Cherry blossoms in my window

something a little different, this is one of many antique windows I was able to find and paint.

Looks good on the wall, but in our last house it was hanging in a window where it looked pretty.

Weathered fence post

This is my latest painting, I just finished it this morning. I took a picture of this lonely post while out on a hike with my daughter.

This painting will be auctioned at the Redeemer High School annual fundraising auction/dinner on the 26th of Feb. I'll let you know how it goes.

thanks for stopping by to see some of my work. I use the term "work" loosely because painting is one of my passions. I'm fairly new to this, and I paint in between snacks and cuddles with my baby girl, making dinner and doing laundry, hanging out with my beautiful teen daughters and my wonderful, supportive hubbie.
